HTK 1200 – Mobile high-temperature camera probe

The flex­i­ble design of our HTK 1200 cam­era probe makes it an ide­al diag­nos­tic tool for many issues affect­ing high-tem­per­a­ture process­es up to 1,200 °C. The sys­tem, which is cooled exclu­sive­ly by com­pressed air, is avail­able with two view­ing direc­tions (0° and 80°) and allows a 360° panoram­ic view by rotat­ing around its own axis. Var­i­ous image-open­ing angles and the option of record­ing in cold­er areas using near-infrared (NIR) enable max­i­mum adapt­abil­i­ty. It’s easy to use the sys­tem quick­ly and flex­i­bly in many areas of boil­er plants. The objec­tive is to observe and eval­u­ate con­di­tions or process­es at one or sev­er­al points in time. Pos­si­ble appli­ca­tions include the obser­va­tion of:

  • fire posi­tion / flu­idised bed
  • burn­er operation
  •  refractory
  • addi­tive injection
  • con­t­a­m­i­na­tion and deposits
  • online clean­ing process­es (SCS, explo­sive clean­ing, soot blow­ers, rap­ping devices, etc.)

The high-res­o­lu­tion images cap­tured by the HTK 1200 often allow direct con­clu­sions to be drawn about opti­mi­sa­tion pos­si­bil­i­ties, but the infor­ma­tion acquired from the cam­era inspec­tion is also essen­tial for improv­ing process­es when linked to exist­ing mea­sure­ment data (such as air vol­umes, tem­per­a­tures, pres­sures, exhaust gas com­po­si­tion, heat flow, etc). It allows images of dif­fer­ent oper­at­ing con­di­tions to be com­pared, for exam­ple dur­ing clean­ing process­es. We also use the mobile HT cam­era to opti­mise the place­ment of tem­per­a­ture sen­sors or oth­er probes.
